Springfield Gymnastics Center offers girls' recreational gymnastics, a co-ed tumbling program, competitive gymnastics, and activities such as Game Night, Ninja Night, and Skill Clinics. The program also includes tumbling, Aerial Silks, Ninja, and cheer.

Springfield Gymnastics Center is a complete gymnastics training facility designed to teach the skills of the four Women’s Olympic gymnastics events: vault, bars, beam, and floor, along with tumble trak progressions. The facility includes 14,260 square feet of space with 12,500 square feet dedicated to gymnastics and tumbling, a front office, a Pro Shop, a channel bar pit, climbing ropes, a 10-foot tumble trak, and a 40-foot tumble trak leading into a 26 ft. x 18 ft. foam-filled pit. It also has a 2,600 square foot fully equipped, dedicated preschool area, a parents’ observation area with a flat-screen television and bulletin boards, and a Video Delay Training System for athletes to review their performance on TV monitors.

Springfield Gymnastics Center opened to its first student in September 2017 after a renovation completed in August 2017. Owner and coach Brad Epperson has been a coach in the sport of gymnastics for over 37 years and has owned and operated two other gymnastics businesses before opening Springfield Gymnastics Center. His experience includes directing AcroSports Gymnastics in Webster, Texas in 1985, founding Epperson’s Gymnastics Academy in Greenwood, South Carolina in 1994, and co-owning Peoria Elite Gymnastics Academy in Peoria, Illinois in 2014. He has coached with Kevin Mazieka, USA Men’s Olympic Gymnastics coach in 2000, 2004, and 2008, and with Alexander Alexandrov, past Russian National Women’s Gymnastics and Olympic team head coach. He has served as gymnastics meet director for over 20 competitions, including sectionals, state meets, and national invitationals.

Brad Epperson has been a Professional Member of USA Gymnastics since 1985 and has received certifications from USA Gymnastics including Professional Development 1 and 2, Skill Evaluator, Women’s Meet Director, Instructor, and Junior Olympic Coaches Course. His programs focus on the development of the entire athlete to be mentally, emotionally, and physically strong, with safety at the heart of every training program, and he stresses positive communication with gymnasts, parents, community members, and other gymnastics professionals.

The leadership and staff team includes Owner and Coach Brad Epperson; Assistant General Manager Jamie Sherwood; Special Events Coordinator Kelly Settlemoir; Staff Development Coordinator Christi Huss; Program Director Joshua Hill; and multiple instructors and support staff such as preschool, school-age, team, tumbling, cheer, Ninja, Aerial Silks, office, and special event staff including Maggie Aten, Kirstin Shue, Riley DeGroot, Reyce Bott, Kelly Simmons, Delaney Tyson, Kaley Sherwood, Sieun Lee, Bre Engel, Rylee Smith, Kyleigh Nguyen, Leighann Manning, Reina Rohdeman, Kaitlin Hubbard, Eliza Pratt, Shaina Ford, Murphy Ward, Brock Marshall, Erin Stoops, Caleina Herman, Michael Young, Andrew Young, Sabine Tonstad, Isaac Ryder, Natallie Strode, Max Colbert, Shelby Rayl, Adi Benedict, Liam Huntley, Jamie Fitzpatrick, Jocelyn Kennedy, Abby Scranton, Amanda Daniels, and Alivia Melton.
