Steel Beam Theatre Youth Programs

Steel Beam Theatre Youth Programs includes Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr. Camp, where students explore the musical through acting, singing, and dancing. It also includes Newsies Musical Theatre Dance Intensive, a musical theatre dance workshop focused on movement, dancing, and performance skills, and The Little Mermaid Jr., described as a family-friendly musical production.

Programs

• Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr. Camp — June 2–6, 2025, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (showcase the final hour on Friday) · Students explore the musical through acting, singing, and dancing, with a final showcase performance for family and friends during the last hour of camp on Friday.
• Newsies Musical Theatre Dance Intensive — July 28 – August 1, 2025, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (showcase the final hour on Friday) · A musical theatre dance workshop focused on movement, dancing, and performance skills, culminating in a mini performance for families during the last hour on Friday.
• The Little Mermaid Jr. — Youth event described as a family-friendly musical production.

About the provider

The mission of Steel Beam Theatre Youth Programs is to produce quality professional theatre in the Fox Valley and to provide inspiring youth education and performance offerings. The leadership team lists SBT Youth Coordinator Lexi Colatorti, with Lexi Colatorti directing, Tavian Covington choreographing, and Ariela Policastro handling music direction.
