Steel Beam Theatre Youth Programs

Steel Beam Theatre Youth Programs include acting, singing, and dancing activities. Participants rehearse scenes, songs, and choreography inspired by Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr., and take part in a musical theatre dance workshop inspired by the musical Newsies. The programs include a mini performance for families and a final showcase performance for family and friends.

• Schedule: Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr. Camp runs June 2–6, 2025, 12:00 PM–4:00 PM, and Newsies Musical Theatre Dance Intensive runs July 28–August 1, 2025, 12:00 PM–4:00 PM, each with a showcase during the final hour on Friday.

Steel Beam Theatre’s youth offerings are directed by Lexi Colatorti, choreographed by Tavian Covington, with music direction by Ariela Policastro, and youth coordination by Lexi Colatorti. The organization states a mission to produce quality professional theatre in the Fox Valley and to provide inspiring youth education and performance offerings. Steel Beam Theatre is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, and its programming is underwritten in part by groups referred to as Friends of Steel Beam Theatre.
