Northern Illinois Dance Center offers dance classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, and contemporary. The program also offers a Barre & Beyond Class for adult fitness and Dance Party Birthday celebrations. The studio includes wireless internet and a homework lounge for students and their parents.

Northern Illinois Dance Center’s leadership team includes Studio Owner, Director, and Teacher Raelyn Joyner; Assistant Studio Director, Elevation Company Director, and teacher Atlee Smith; Associate Studio Director, Office Manager, Community Program Coordinator, Elevation Choreographer, NIDC's Performance Group Director, and Teacher Abriella (Ella) Joyner; Ballet Program Coordinator, Elevation Choreographer, and teacher Courtney Scott-Frantz; Elevation Choreographer and teacher Analisa Joyner; and teacher Gabby Norman. Atlee has been teaching for Northern Illinois Dance Center since its opening in 2009. All instructors have been background checked through Good Hire. Raelyn has enrolled Northern Illinois Dance Center as an IDEA member and is an accredited International Ballet Barre Fitness Association Instructor. Atlee led the Sycamore Middle School Dance Team to five consecutive NCJC championship titles.

Northern Illinois Dance Center offers wireless internet and a homework lounge, a dedicated workout space for adult barre classes, and Birthday Packages for Dance Party Birthday celebrations. The program has an online store partnership with NIMBLY that provides a discount on purchases for shoes, tights, apparel, and more. Northern Illinois Dance Center has a competitive program called Elevation Dance Company and a performance group directed by Abriella Joyner, and it also has an app available in the App Store.
Northern Illinois Dance Center’s services extend to communities such as Sycamore, DeKalb, Genoa, Kirkland, Kingston, Rochelle, Malta, Maple Park, Claire, Marengo, Hampshire, Burlington, Cortland, and beyond. Atlee is the Family & Community Liaison for a neighboring school district, where she builds partnerships between families, schools, and community resources, with a focus on fostering belonging, connecting families to supports, and strengthening school–community collaboration.
