Summer Day Camp includes fun, games, activities and field trips, with both indoor and outdoor activities. Campers take part in crafts, science, splash pad days, swimming, local outings, special events, and field trips, including swimming at the White Water Canyon Water Park. The program also features in-house visitors as part of the camp experience.

• Schedule: Options include two week, four-week, and eight week sessions
Summer Day Camp is for fall campers entering grades 1–7. Our Little Adventures, Explorers, and Sunshine Tot Camps are described as giving the youngest campers a fun-filled day of adventures, with weekly themes that focus on creativity, independence and friendship and include many hands-on opportunities. Participants must be able to use the bathroom independently.
Campers are separated into age-appropriate groups led by two to four highly trained camp counselors. The leadership team includes Bailey Hecker, Recreation Supervisor.
Families receive camp information at the email address they have on file at the time of registration. ePACT is a secure emergency network used to collect medical and emergency contact information electronically, and campers are not allowed to attend until ePACT forms are completed and submitted. A Medication Form must be filled out for any camper who needs to take medication.
Registration for camps is for an entire session, and refunds are not issued for missed summer camp days. If a camper is removed from camp due to unacceptable behavior, they are sent home and a refund is not issued; if a camper is sent home more than two times, they are removed from camp for the rest of the season without a refund. Refunds for summer camp programs that begin in June must be requested by May 1 for a full refund, with requests after May 1 receiving 50% of the total camp fee, and refunds for programs that begin in July must be requested by June 1 for a full refund, with requests after June 1 receiving 50% of the total camp fee. Friendship requests for camp groups are not accepted.
There is a multi-child discount for Tot Camp-Little Adventures, Tot Camp-Explorers, and Tot Camp-Sunshine. There is a multi-child discount of $15 off a 4-week registration and $30 off an 8-week registration for both McCarthy Park and Vogt Woods camps. There is a $15 discount for a second child in Sunrise and Sunset camps. There is a second-and-more-child discount of $20 off a two week session and $60 off an eight week session for tween camp fees. The discount applies to families with campers in Tot Camp, Day Camp, and Tween Camp, and the multi-child discount applies to the lowest camp fee.
