Cub Scout Day Camp offers a Day Camp Program that follows a traditional Day Camp format. The 2025 Day Camp theme is STEM Oriented.
• Ages: 5–11 years old
• Schedule: Day Camps are held June 6–7, 2025 and July 11–12, 2025, with check-in at 6 PM for overnight stays, and program days running from 9 AM to 4 PM.
• Price: Youth Day Camp Fee is $60, with an optional Adult Meal Ticket available for $10.
The Prairielands Council, BSA states that it provides character development and value-based leadership training to youth in nine counties of east-central Illinois and west-central Indiana. The leadership team includes Scout Executive Jared White, Office Manager Sharon Kirk, Fundraising Support Associate Gloria Marsh, Field Support Associate Susan Coller, Many Trails District Senior District Executive Mike Graham, and Prairie Fire District District Director Lovetta Ash-Simpson. Community sponsors listed for the program include David Cook, Joseph Fejes, Hope Chapter 104 OES, Mr. Auto Body, Mahomet Masonic Lodge, and East Central Illinois Building Trades Council.
Families are asked to provide a Medical Form Parts A and B, a Pack Roster Form to be turned in by the unit at Day Camp, and a Paper Registration Form if not using Tentaroo. Scouts and leaders can register online on Tentaroo or at the Prairielands Council Office, and Tentaroo registration is available starting April 10.
