Kids Above All Early Childhood Education is part of Kids Above All, an organization that builds better lives for children and families impacted by poverty, violence and injustice. The program is connected to Kids Above All’s broader services, which include early childhood education, safe and supportive housing, and trauma-informed counseling programs for children, youth, young adults, and families.

Kids Above All was founded in 1894. The organization provides parents of children with resources they can use so their kids are happy, healthy, and ready to succeed in school. Kids Above All also has an Emerge program for homeless young adults, and a participant in that program described it by saying, “The Emerge Program is like having another parent. It was definitely that void that was missing.” Kids Above All offers individual, large group, and small group volunteer opportunities, and it provides opportunities to become a foster parent. Kids Above All accepts financial gifts from donors to support its work and operates the Better Life Distribution Center at 1801 E. Oakton St., Des Plaines, IL 60018.
