The Private Group Guided Barn Tour includes a one-hour tour of the Kentucky-style barn to learn about horse behaviors, types of feed, and uses of saddles and tack, followed by a horse grooming demonstration. The Five-Part Ownership Lecture Series provides an in-depth look at daily, annual, and lifelong care of horses with both lecture and practical, hands-on applications in the Kentucky-style barn. No Rush Brush Grooming offers one-on-one time with a horse focused on grooming plus lectures or ground work, and the Horsemanship Badge for Scouts covers safe horse care, horse instincts and behaviors, and training methods. Wagon rides around the equestrian center and surrounding forest preserve are offered, weather permitting, on select fall weekends, and dogs are allowed if they are on leashes under 10 feet long, while alcohol is prohibited. The center partners with the nonprofit Friends of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County to help connect people to nature.
