Ramah Day Camp includes activities such as gardening, outdoor cooking, a low ropes course, sports, arts and crafts, and learning Israeli songs and dances. Campers take part in swimming with American Red Cross swim instruction, free swim, relay races, and use two heated pools, weather permitting. The program also offers tennis, floor hockey, basketball, flag football, softball, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, yoga, soccer, krav maga, martial arts, archery, gaga, hiking, nature games, nature crafts, cookouts, Purim in July, talent shows, color wars, a Yom Sport competition, the Annual Zimriyah song festival, weekly kikar dancing, the Annual Rikudiyah dance festival, dance, painting, drama and theatre, jewelry making, digital photography, pottery, and singing.

• Schedule: Full summer session runs eight weeks from mid-June through mid-August, with the option to attend either the first or second four-week session
Ramah Day Camp offers age-tailored programming from campers entering pre-K through entering eighth grade, and ninth and tenth graders can join as counselors-in-training. The camp’s mission statement describes nurturing staff, eclectic activities, a deep connection to Jewish values and traditions, and a warm, family-like atmosphere. Ramah Day Camp draws campers from across the Chicagoland area, including both suburbs and the city. Bussing is provided for those who need it.
