Ramah Day Camp includes activities such as gardening, outdoor cooking, a low ropes course, sports, arts and crafts, learning Israeli songs and dances, and swimming. Campers take part in American Red Cross swim instruction and free swim, as well as relay races, tennis, floor hockey, basketball, flag football, softball, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, yoga, soccer, krav maga and martial arts, archery, and gaga. The program also offers hiking, nature games, nature crafts, cookouts, Purim in July, talent shows, color wars, a Yom Sport competition, the Annual Zimriyah song festival, weekly kikar dancing, the Annual Rikudiyah dance festival, and arts activities such as dance, painting, drama and theatre, jewelry making, digital photography, pottery, and singing.

• Schedule: Full summer eight-week session from mid-June through mid-August, with the option of either the first or second four-week session

Ramah Day Camp states that it offers nurturing staff, eclectic activities, a deep connection to Jewish values and traditions, and a warm, family-like atmosphere. The camp draws campers from across the Chicagoland area, including both suburbs and the city. Campers use two heated pools twice a day, weather permitting, and the program includes age-tailored programming for children entering pre-K through entering eighth grade, with ninth and tenth graders able to join as counselors-in-training. Bussing is provided for those who need it, and swimming instruction is provided through American Red Cross swim instruction.
