About

Wilmette Jr. Trevians Hockey offers co-ed ice hockey programs that include youth travel hockey, house hockey, Learn to Skate classes, and hockey skill development classes. The program also runs a 5-on-5 all-goalie game called Goalies Gone Wild.

• Ages: 4–14 years old

The Wilmette Jr. Trevians Hockey program is a competitive community club offering programming to help players have fun and develop, with team sizes that are structured to maximize player development and ice time. House hockey is described as a fit for skaters who want team hockey in a fun, competitive environment with a less time-intensive program, while the Youth Travel program (Mite through Midget levels) is for players who can practice several times a week and play against other teams from across the greater Chicagoland area. The program notes elite skills directors, an emphasis on building life skills through hockey, super convenient ice times, and support for multi-sport athletes. Together, the Wilmette Park District and Wilmette Hockey Association state that their goal is to provide a great experience for every level of skater, from beginner to advanced and from casual to competitive, and they describe their partnership as one of the premier community-based youth hockey programs in Illinois. For the 2023–2024 season, the Wilmette Hockey Association was awarded Central States Development Hockey League (CSDHL) teams at multiple levels, including Squirt Minor (2014), Squirt Major (2013), Squirt Prospects (2013/2014), PeeWee Minor (2012), PeeWee Prospects (2011/2012), Bantam Minor (2010), Bantam Prospects (2009/2010), and Midget Prospects (U16).
