About

Master Yoo's Tae Kwon Do offers Preschool Martial Arts, Kids Martial Arts, Teen Martial Arts, Adult Martial Arts, and Family Martial Arts, along with birthday parties and Women’s Self-Defense seminars. The program also includes an After School Program, an Extended School Enrichment (ESE) Program, and an annual Board Break-a-Thon event. Programs include Little Tigers Taekwondo, Children Taekwondo, Teen Taekwondo, Adult Taekwondo, Family Taekwondo, and a Confidence Kids (World Class Kids) character development program that introduces and reinforces life skills such as focus, cooperation, respect, self-control, responsibility, and perseverance.

Since its inception in 2013, Master Yoo's Tae Kwon Do has raised over $240,000 to benefit the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent, and since 2011 it has raised over $20,000 to benefit various Hamilton County schools. The program participates in community activities such as partnerships with local schools, cultural fairs and international events, student demonstration team performances, school carnivals, local wellness fairs, community festivals and parades, and Safety Days sponsored by local law enforcement and fire departments. It conducts Women’s Self-Defense seminars tailored for specific groups, serves as a Girl Scouts of Central Indiana Community Program Provider, and partners with hospitals at fitness and health community outreach programs.

Master Eun Soo Yoo leads the program and is a 6th Degree Black Belt with the World Tae Kwon Do Federation and a 4th Degree Black Belt with the Korean Hapkido Association. His background includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Tae Kwon Do from Young In University in Korea, service as a Korean Army Instructor from 1996–98, multiple Young In University Tae Kwon Do Sparring Championships, membership on the Korean National Tae Kwon Do Demonstration Team, and experience as Head Master Instructor at World Class Tae Kwon Do Centers in Buffalo, NY. He holds Korean certifications as a Hwal Bup Master, Physical Therapist, and Social Physical Education Instructor, and has received certificates of appreciation from the 109th Olympic Committee Session and the World Tae Kwon Do Federation, as well as coaching demonstration teams that won Annual World Class Tae Kwon Do Championships.

The mission of Master Yoo's Tae Kwon Do states a dedication to changing lives through martial arts, education, and coaching, with an emphasis on a safe, comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere for students and family members. The mission also states a belief that martial arts can be for everyone regardless of age, gender, or experience level, and describes a core philosophy that includes a commitment to making the local community a safe and peaceful one.
