About

Foundation For Youth Athletics and Aquatics (including Gymnastics) offers sports leagues, out of school activities, camps, and both athletics and aquatics programs. The program also includes prevention services and mentoring services as part of its regular offerings.

Foundation For Youth (FFY) has been a community pillar for youth and families across Bartholomew County and beyond since 1928. Its programs are grounded in four cornerstones: Commitment to Learning, Character and Leadership, Positive Identity, and Healthy Lifestyles. FFY operates Columbus Youth Camp, where kids use 137 acres of forest, trails, and water. Foundation For Youth is home to multiple programs, including Athletics, Aquatics, Boys & Girls Club, Columbus Youth Camp, TBRI: Foundation For Hope, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bartholomew County, Council for Youth Development, Bartholomew County Prevention Initiatives, and Safe Place. Staff are certified through the Child and Youth Care Certification Board (CYCCB). Foundation For Youth is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and is designated a Platinum Level participant, reflecting its stated commitment to transparency. FFY relies on community support, volunteers, and partnerships to sustain its programs and expand its outreach, and many former participants are now local business leaders, educators, medical professionals, public servants, and community organizers. The mission of Foundation For Youth is “To Inspire and Enable Our Youth, Our Community.”
