Swim Lessons

Swim Lessons offers a range of classes including Parent/Tot swim class, Preschool swim class, Level 1: Intro to Water Skills, Level 2: Fundamental Aquatic Skills, Level 3: Stroke Readiness, Level 4: Stroke Improvement, Level 5: Stroke Refinement, and Level 6: Swimming & Skill Proficiency. The program also includes Level 6 options in Personal Water Safety, Lifeguard Readiness, Fundamentals of Diving, and Fitness Swimming, as well as an Instructional Diving class and Adult swim lessons. All students are evaluated on the first day of class and may be reassigned to a different level at the instructor’s discretion for safety, and a skill rubric is intended to help parents or guardians sign swimmers up for the correct level at registration.

• Ages: 6 weeks–18 years old
• Schedule: Classes run in three sessions (Session 1: June 1–11; Session 2: June 15–25; Session 3: June 29–July 9) with options Monday–Thursday and Friday as a rain make-up day; class times vary by class and may be at 11:30 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 6:15 p.m., or 7 p.m.; Parent/Tot and Preschool classes are 30 minutes, Levels 1–5, Diving, and Adult classes are 35 minutes, and Level 6 classes are 45 minutes; the rain policy guarantees at least 6 classes per session.
• Price: $50 for Swim Lessons (ages 6 weeks–18+).

All persons who are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper, and infant/toddler swim diapers may be purchased from the admissions office. Students in the Lifeguard Certification course will need to bring their swim suits and towel to each class.
