All God's Children Preschool

All God's Children Preschool offers play-based learning for young children. The program uses play-based learning as a central part of the classroom experience.

All God's Children Preschool is an outreach ministry of Grace United Methodist Church. The program introduces children to God’s love and the Bible and is described as a faith-based preschool. Its stated mission includes cultivating a child’s love of learning, respect, creative expression, and life skills of kindness, courtesy, self-discipline, and critical thinking in preparation for kindergarten and beyond. The program states that it focuses on physical development, cognitive development, social and emotional development, and linguistic development. It recognizes the importance of a rich, play-based learning environment that encourages the development of knowledge, including vocabulary, and skills. The program states that play promotes joyful learning that fosters self-regulation, language, cognitive and social competencies, and content knowledge across disciplines, and that play is essential for children from birth through age 8. It acknowledges that children are active learners from birth, taking in and organizing information through relationships, interactions with their environment, and their experiences.

Classes offered include Wonderful 1's, 2-year old classes, 3-year old classes, Pre-K (4-year old), Fantastic 5's, Before & After Care, and Summer Camp. The program lists Lisa Blackwell as Director.
