Scouting America offers programs and activities that allow participants to try new things, learn and grow, boost self-confidence, explore the outdoors, serve others, and make ethical choices. Girls are encouraged to join any of the Scouting America programs, including Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, and Sea Scouts. Scouts report that their experience has helped them be more honest, improved their ability to work with others, helped them become stronger team players, and helped them better understand and sympathize with those less fortunate.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Price: Scouting America Annual Membership Fees: $85 for Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing and Sea Scouting participants; $65 for all adult volunteers; $50 for Exploring participants. Additional fees might be charged by local councils and units. Price subject to change. Effective May 1, 2024.
