School-Age Youth Camps and Programs

School-Age Youth Camps and Programs includes Before- & After-School Care for kindergarten through grade five, with homework time, a daily snack in the afternoons, and games. It also includes summer offerings such as Insect Adventurers, Super Scientists, and Amazing Artists!, along with Flag Football, Summer Basketball Skills Camp, Fishing Camp, Beginner Pickleball Camp, Tiny T-Ball, Tiny Tumbling, and Soccer Skills Camps.

Programs

• Before- & After-School Care — kindergarten through grade five · Before school: Greenwood Community School Corporation school days, 6:30 a.m. to beginning of school day; after school: Greenwood Community School Corporation school days, end of school day to 6 p.m. · $90–$135 per month · Fully supervised recreation programs with homework time, a daily snack (afternoons only), and games. Children ride buses to and from their schools to the Greenwood Fieldhouse.
• Summer Camp — Registration closed. Mobile devices cannot be used for registration. Camp week selection may be done online, in person, or over the phone once camp registration is complete.
• Insect Adventurers - Summer Day Camp — 6-11 · June 1-3, 12:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. · $65 per session · Campers create insect-inspired art, learn about ladybugs, butterflies, and bees, and do STEM activities.
• Super Scientists - Summer Day Camp — 6-11 · June 29, 30, July 1, 12:00 - 2:30 p.m. · $65 per session · Campers dive into STEM challenges, explore creatures, create slime, and conduct experiments.
• Amazing Artists! - Summer Day Camp — 6-11 · June 8-10, 12:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. · $65 per session · Art camp with 2D and 3D mediums including painting, drawing, sculpting, and mixed media.
• Flag Football — 6-8; 9-12 · June 1-4, 5-6 pm (ages 6-8); 6-7 pm (ages 9-12) · $40 · Four-day camp teaching fundamentals including passing, catching, running, and flag pulling.
• Summer Basketball Skills Camp — Grades 1-3; 4-6; 7-12 · June 8-13, 5:15-6:15 pm (Grades 1-3); 6:15-7:15 pm (Grades 4-6); 7:15-8:15 pm (Grades 7-12) · $55 · Four-day clinic covering dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, and defense.
• Fishing Camp — 6-9 · June 10, 9:00-11:00 am · $25 · Outdoor experience at the Freedom Park pond covering pole and reel use, baiting a hook, taking a fish off the hook, and safety practices.
• Beginner Pickleball Camp — 8-15 · June 15-17, 6-7 pm · $40 · Introduction to pickleball with a professional pickleball referee.
• Tiny T-Ball — 3.5-5 · June 22-25, 5:45-6:30 pm · $40 · First sports experience with running the bases, fielding, throwing, and hitting. Some parent participation involved.
• Tiny Tumbling — 2-5 · June 29-July 1, 6:00-7:00 pm · $40 · First exposure to gymnastics with beginning tumbling moves. Some parent participation involved.
• Soccer Skills Camps — 3-4; 4-5; 6-8 · July 6-9, 5:45-6:30 pm (ages 3-4); 6:30-7:15 pm (ages 4-5); 7:15-8 pm (ages 6-8) · $40 · Indoor basic skills camp covering dribbling, trapping, and shooting.
