Arts for Learning Indiana Arts Education Programs brings performances, workshops, and residencies to schools, libraries, and organizations across the state. The programs are led by a roster of more than 70 Teaching Artists and engage approximately 40,000 youth in the arts each year. Arts for Learning also offers ArtForce, a three-week summer program for high school students interested in exploring the arts as a possible college and/or career option.

Since its founding in 1961, Arts for Learning Indiana has been the premier provider of arts education programs for youth in the state and has partnered with Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS). It partners with schools and community organizations throughout the state and impacts thousands of young people every year as part of the national Young Audiences Arts for Learning network, which collectively impacts over 5 million young people each year. Arts for Learning Indiana is affiliated with the national Young Audiences Arts for Learning network and is Central Indiana Wolf Trap, one of 23 Wolf Trap Institute affiliates. The organization’s mission is: “Arts for Learning brings the arts to your learning community to champion creativity, innovate education, and transform lives.” The leadership team includes President & CEO Anya Aslanova, media contact Tammy Ruel for logos, brand standards, and usage of assets, and Angela Yetter as the contact for accessibility questions or requests. Arts for Learning Indiana has an ongoing strategic plan with five “Rays of Impact”: expanding access, uplifting artists, staying relevant, leading boldly, and building a strong, sustainable future.
