Arts for Learning Indiana Arts Education Programs include performances, workshops, and residencies that feature music and hands-on art-making. The programs bring these activities to schools, libraries, and organizations across the state through a roster of more than 70 Teaching Artists. ArtForce is a three-week summer program that is described as a good fit for high school students interested in exploring the arts as a possible college and/or career option.

Since its founding in 1961, Arts for Learning Indiana has partnered with Indianapolis Public Schools to provide arts experiences and has been the premier provider of arts education programs for youth in the state. Each year, Arts for Learning Indiana engages approximately 40,000 youth in the arts. The organization partners with schools and community organizations throughout Indiana and is affiliated with the national Young Audiences Arts for Learning network. Arts for Learning Indiana is also Central Indiana Wolf Trap, one of 23 Wolf Trap Institute affiliates across the country and around the world. The organization’s mission states that Arts for Learning brings the arts to learning communities to champion creativity, innovate education, and transform lives. Its strategic plan includes five “Rays of Impact”: expanding access, uplifting artists, staying relevant, leading boldly, and building a strong, sustainable future. The leadership team includes Anya Aslanova as President & CEO.
