Edgewood Preschool Cooperative

Edgewood Preschool Cooperative offers a play-based, parent-participation preschool program for children ages 2 through 5. It includes Stay and Play for ages 2s and 3s, Koala for ages 3s and 4s, and Panda for ages 4s and 5s. Stay and Play meets Tuesday or Thursday from 9:30 to 11:00 am, Koala meets Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 am, and Panda meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:00 to 2:30 pm.

About the provider

Edgewood Preschool Cooperative was established in 1962. It is affiliated with the Indiana Council of Preschool Cooperatives and Parent Cooperative Preschools International. The program states that children thrive in an atmosphere of trust in a safe, gentle environment, and that self esteem and ability to learn are interdependent; it also says it is important to foster a sense of competency and independence.

Tours must be scheduled in advance. Non-profit, parent-participation preschool located on the Southside of Indianapolis, Indiana.
