About
The Children's Museum of Indianapolis Programs include chances for children to touch a dinosaur bone, step into the world of the dinosaurs, and see a mastodon discovered in Indiana. Children can see a show, take in a live theater show (seasonal), and see the largest water clock in North America. The program also offers chances to make art, create paleo art, experiment in the science lab, and marvel at Dale Chihuly's tallest permanent installations. Kids can steer a pedal car, pose for a photo in an Indy Car, ride a historic Carousel, and climb aboard the Reuben Wells steam engine (temporarily closed). They can board the space station, blast off into space, board the plane to Peru, unlock pop culture memories, play the day away in Playscape, explore 7.5 acres of outdoor sports, try adaptive equipment available for each sport, and learn from experienced Coaches. Children and adults can also hear the powerful stories of Anne Frank, Ruby Bridges, Ryan White, and Malala Yousafzai.
