About

The Children's Museum of Indianapolis Programs include hands-on activities where children can touch a dinosaur bone, step into the world of the dinosaurs, and see a mastodon discovered in Indiana. Families can see a show, make art, create paleo art, experiment in the science lab, and unlock pop culture memories. Children can board the space station, blast off into space, board the plane to Peru, steer a pedal car, pose for a photo in an Indy Car, and play the day away in Playscape. The museum features a historic Carousel where families can take a spin or ride, opportunities to see the largest water clock in North America, and marvel at Dale Chihuly's tallest permanent installations, and it also includes the Reuben Wells steam engine, which is temporarily closed. Children and adults can explore 7.5 acres of outdoor sports experiences in the outdoor sports wonderland, try adaptive equipment available for each sport, and learn from experienced Coaches, and they can hear the powerful stories of Anne Frank, Ruby Bridges, Ryan White, and Malala Yousafzai.
