About
The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis Programs include activities such as Sports Clinics, Member Mornings, and seasonal live theater shows. Children can explore interactive exhibits like “Art Show Catastrophe!,” “CAPCOM Go! The Apollo Story,” “Dancing Through Lima,” and “May Homeschool: Into the Blue! Ocean Science.” The program offers chances to climb aboard the Reuben Wells steam engine (temporarily closed), blast off into space, board the plane to Peru, step into the world of the dinosaurs, create paleo art, pose for a photo in an Indy Car, and play the day away in Playscape. Families can also see the largest water clock in North America, marvel at Dale Chihuly’s tallest permanent installations, see a mastodon discovered in Indiana, take a spin on the historic Carousel, experiment in the science lab, and explore 7.5 acres of outdoor sports with adaptive equipment available for each sport.
