Volume Performance Center Recreational Dance Program offers recreational dance classes along with dance birthday parties, Parent Night Outs, movie nights, and seasonal fall, spring, and holiday recitals. Celebrating 17 seasons of making Indianapolis dance, Volume Performance Center started in Carmel, Indiana and later spent a decade in Nora’s Northview Mall before relocating to its current space in June 2025. The mission statement explains that the name “Volume” reflects a belief that dance should be bold, powerful, and full of energy, like turning the music all the way up, and that the studio aims to amplify every dancer’s voice, movement, and confidence on and off the stage. The mission also states that Volume Performance Center focuses on putting children first, encouraging creativity, self-expression, and letting kids be kids while maintaining high standards in both technique and character development, and that it is committed to nurturing both the art of dance and the mental well-being of every student who walks through its doors, building confidence, community, and character.
