Brown County Community YMCA Youth Swimming takes place in a salt water pool. The program runs during a scheduled session from May 18 through June 27, 2026. The salt water pool is open during posted pool hours on weekdays and Saturdays, with additional open hours on Sundays.

The Brown County Community YMCA states its mission as putting Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. The YMCA participates in the Military Outreach Initiative in partnership with the Armed Services YMCA and the Department of Defense, offering memberships to eligible military families and personnel. The YMCA also serves as an official Red Cross Emergency Shelter. Financial assistance is available based on need, and no one is denied membership due to an inability to pay fees as long as funds are available. Full facility and full privilege YMCA members can use other YMCA facilities throughout the nation at no extra cost, except for certain third-party insurance-paid memberships.
