About

CYO Camp Rancho Framasa Summer Camp is a Catholic camp where all children belong. The summer staff is made up of about 50 college-age individuals, and staff members are part of the American Camp Association.

• Ages: 7–17 years old

Camp leadership includes Camp Director Pete Fasano, Facilities Manager Ned Endris, School Year Program Director Ben Vanderzyden, Summer Program Director Stepharoo (Steph Okerson), Assistant Camp Director Lauren Verhiley, and Food Service Manager Steven Drake. Staff must meet qualifications that include providing references and passing a background check, and they are required to complete and become certified through the Archdiocese of Indianapolis’ Safe Parish Safe Environment child protection program. One parent of a summer camper reported that every story their child shared about camp included what an “amazing caring counselor” they had. Another parent shared that their children have attended for three years, that the counselors “really make this camp special,” and that their children rated Rancho Framasa as their number one camp experience.
