About
The Y Club Before and After School Program includes homework enrichment, healthy snacks with daily physical activity, and both small and large group activities. Children take part in team building, hands-on arts and humanities projects, STEM activities, nutrition education, and service learning. The program also includes chances for youth to help develop daily activities and snack menus and to lead activities with their peers.

The program is a state licensed program with qualified, trained staff. It is part of the YMCA of Greater Kansas City, which is founded on Christian principles and is a charitable organization with an inclusive environment committed to enriching the quality of family, spiritual, social, mental, and physical well-being. The program includes 30 minutes of physical fitness daily and focuses on academic support, learning, social growth, health, and safety. Its curriculum focuses on family and parent engagement, global learning and inclusion, 21st century skills, academic enrichment, health and wellness, college and career readiness, service learning, leadership development, and arts.
