Barbara Ann’s School of Dance

Barbara Ann’s School of Dance offers Ballet & Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Acrobatics, Parent & Me, Combination, Contemporary, Tutu Tumble, and Hip Hop for ages 2 to Adult. It also offers Accelerated Classes, with placement during boot camps, workshops, and ballet intensive, and Team BASD, a competition team with try outs required.

Barbara Ann’s School of Dance was founded in 1945 and is in its 81st year in business. It is described as the longest running dance studio in the state of Kentucky. Its mission is to foster the passion and creative abilities of diversified and generational students by promoting teamwork, self-love, self-discipline, comradely, and the art of dance.

Offers a $50 3 Lesson Trial Package. Registration fee is $25 per dancer per year. Cash discount: 5% when paying for entire semester by 2nd week of class. Sibling discount available. Discounts may not be combined to exceed 10%. Snow policy: we still teach even if Fayette County Schools are closed; if the studio closes, families are emailed and notified on Facebook and Instagram. Additional Ballet Technique and Pointe classes are offered Saturday morning, but permission of instructor or director is required to enroll.
