Dr. Kim's Taekwondo & Martial Arts

Dr. Kim's Taekwondo & Martial Arts offers the Little Tigers Program, the Children’s Program, the Adult/Teen Program, the Family Program, and the ELITE TEAM PROGRAM. The Little Tigers Program is for children ages 3 to 5, the Children’s Program is for ages 6 to 12, the Adult/Teen Program is for ages 15 and up, the Family Program is for parents, kids, or siblings training together, and the ELITE TEAM PROGRAM is for Black Belt Club members only.

Programs

• Little Tigers Program — A short-term program for children ages 3 to around 6. The program page states Ages 3 to 5.
• Children’s Program — A traditional Taekwondo program for children ages 6 or 7 to 14. The program page states Ages 6 to 12.
• Adult/Teen Program — For all students ages 15 and up.
• Family Program — For parents and kids or siblings who wish to train together. All ages and abilities are welcome.
• ELITE TEAM PROGRAM — For Black Belt Club members only.

Dr. Kim's Taekwondo & Martial Arts was founded by Grandmaster Tiger Kim, Ph.D., who is the Founder & President. The page says he opened the school in 2010 and that it has served Central Kentucky since 1990. The school says it is officially licensed through KUKKIWON and sanctioned by World Taekwondo. Grandmaster Tiger Kim, Ph.D. is listed as a KUKKIWON World Champion, USA National Taekwondo Team Member, Pan America Taekwondo Champion, USAT National Champion, USAT Grand Prix Champion, US OPEN International Champion, ATU National Champion, KUKKIWON 8th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, Moo Duk Kwan 9th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, ITF 7th Degree Black Belt in Teuk Gong Moo Sool, and KUKKIWON Taekwondo Professor.

Low student to instructor ratio (generally 2 to 1) is stated for the Little Tigers Program. Beginners and those with past experience are welcome in the Children’s Program. The Family Program welcomes all ages and abilities. The ELITE TEAM PROGRAM is by invite only and for Black Belt Club members only.
