Esperanza Club After-School Program includes after-school time for students in 1st through 5th grade. It also offers one-to-one mentoring, where volunteers visit the school and spend time with students to establish a mentor-mentee relationship. Summer enrichment camps are available for current kindergarteners through 5th graders, with two weeks of camp for $5 and scholarships available.

- Esperanza Club After-School Program — 1st through 5th Grade · Monday through Thursday, 2:30 to 5:00
- One-to-One Mentoring — Once a week during lunchtime during the academic year · Volunteers visit the school and spend time with students to establish a mentor-mentee relationship.
- Summer Enrichment Camps — current Kindergarteners to 5th graders · Summer; two weeks of camp · Available at Calvary/Cardinal Valley Camps and Nathaniel Mission/Harrison Camps. Cost is $5 for two weeks of camp, and scholarships are available.

About the provider
Nathaniel Mission has been actively investing in the Cardinal Valley and Speigle Heights neighborhoods for more than seven years. Since 1940, The Nathaniel Mission has been a constant presence of supportive services to those in need in urban Lexington. Kelly Langdoc is the Children & Youth Development Coordinator. The organization fosters relationships with children in the community through Esperanza Club, one-to-one mentoring, and summer enrichment camps.
