KidStrong is a science-based kids training program that offers weekly 45-minute classes. In each class, kids take part in fun activities that promote balance, coordination, strength, and agility, along with puzzles, games, mental challenges, and science-based fitness games.

KidStrong describes its centers as clean, modern centers and its classes as developmentally appropriate, fun, and challenging. Programming is specially designed by child development experts and is guided by a group of experts, child development scientists, and coaches. All coaches are described as specially-trained, certified and professional, and compassionate leaders, and all coaches are certified and professional.
KidStrong states that its mission is to build strong, confident, high-character kids and to build happier, more confident kids. The program’s approach is based on the Whole Child Philosophy and focuses on three pillars: Strong Character, Strong Body, Strong Mind. Games in the program are described as science-based fitness games that develop life skills like teamwork, mental toughness, and sportsmanship, and are designed to improve creativity, mental development, and problem solving skills. KidStrong is described as parent-focused and brings parents right into the action with front row seats, and KidStrong classes are reserved for members only and require an appointment. KidStrong offers Camps, and KidStrong Camp is described as a place where kids gain lifelong friendships, learn new skills, build confidence, and create memories. KidStrong does not provide medical services, does not accept insurance, and states that it cannot guarantee that a child will learn how to fly.
KidStrong was founded in 2015 by Matt and Megin Sharp in Lexington, Kentucky, and the original business plan was written on a tablecloth at Ted's Montana Grill in Lexington, Kentucky. Megin and Matt partnered with Lincoln Brown to turn the idea into a scalable business. KidStrong is guided by a leadership team that includes Preschool & Kindergarten Director Patti Eubanks, Doctor of Physical Therapy Patrick Ford, and Dr. Julie Foucher, who is listed as an MD, Family Physician and 4x Crossfit Games Competitor. Since its founding in 2015, KidStrong has grown to more than 160 locations serving more than 65,000 kids per week and celebrated its 100th center opening with franchisee Barb Volk in Plantation, Florida.
