Beverly Recreation Department Youth Programs

Beverly Recreation Department Youth Programs include activities such as pickleball, concerts, movie nights, recreation league teams, adult and youth sports, beautification efforts, life enrichment classes, and Parks and Camps programs. The program uses pickleball courts and fields, including the field in front of the bandshell and the field by the Rose Garden, for its activities. The Beverly Recreation Department offers nets available to rent for pickleball.

• Schedule: Lynch Park is open daily from 6:00am–10:00pm, with Lynch Park Bathhouse hours (weather permitting) Monday–Friday 9:00am–8:00pm and Saturday/Sunday 8:00am–8:00pm; pickleball courts are open from 8:00am–dusk on weekdays and 9:00am–dusk on weekends and holidays.
• Price: Nets are offered at $20 for a 48-hour period.

The Beverly Recreation Department states that it prides itself on enriching the lives of all Beverly residents through access to and beautification of beaches and open spaces, life enrichment classes, and Parks and Camps programs, and that it works to offer fun, exciting, and challenging ways to enhance the community throughout the year. Many groups and individuals help clean up Beverly’s parks and beaches each year, and the Beverly Recreation Department works very closely with the Beverly Homecoming Committee, while not running Beverly Homecoming itself. The department’s email newsletter reaches more than 2,300 people each week, and its website averages more than 6,500 unique visitors each month. The Beverly Recreation Department is currently offering engraved picnic tables with personalized messages for memorializing loved ones, and Jon is the contact for sponsoring BevRec events and for information about memorial picnic tables.
