School of Rock Burlington offers performance-based music education that includes weekly private music lessons, weekly group music lessons, and weekly group rehearsals. Students take part in one-on-one instruction, band practices, live performances, songwriting, songwriting exercises, lyrical workshops, and recording original songs. The program uses simplified rock instruments, hand percussion, and other tools to teach rhythm patterns and music syntax, and students play shows in real rock venues.
