DHSP Summer Camps and Programs are offered through the City of Cambridge Department of Human Service Programs (DHSP). Information is provided about summer camps and programs for Cambridge children in Kindergarten through 8th grade.
• Ages: 5–13 years old
• Schedule: Applications for the 2026 DHSP Summer Lottery will open in February.
The Department of Human Service Programs is led by Ellen Semonoff, Assistant City Manager. DHSP creates and coordinates services that enhance the quality of life for Cambridge residents and offers childcare and family support services, preschool programs, Out-of-School Time programs for elementary school children, middle schoolers, and teens, adult education, the Council on Aging, recreation programs and facilities, workforce development and employment programs, heating assistance, and the Cambridge Summer Food Program. DHSP is a significant partner and funder of community agencies and focuses on equitably serving Cambridge’s diverse community and increasing access to programs and services, particularly for low-income individuals and families and residents from historically marginalized communities.
