Nobles Day Camp offers activities that include fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Campers use an on-site area with access to the Charles River for these water activities.
• Ages: 4–15 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday day camp with regular hours from 9:00 am–4:00 pm and extended summer hours from 7:00 am–6:00 pm
Nobles Day Camp states that its mission is to be a fun, caring, and inclusive camp community focused on providing a high-quality summer enrichment program where campers develop life skills through hands-on activities that nurture creativity, independence, and teamwork in a supportive environment. The camp operates on a 187 acre campus with access to the Charles River for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. The total camp ratio is 1:3, and counselor-to-camper ratios vary according to age groups. The leadership team includes Camp Director Beth Johns-Thomas, Assistant Director Gary Ross, and Camp Administrator Colleen Collins. The camp reports that 50% of its staff is made up of adults, parents, and/or schoolteachers. Nobles Day Camp is an accredited member of the American Camp Association.
The Nobles community states that it values environmental stewardship and actively teaches and practices sustainable habits. The camp provides individual water bottles for campers and staff, reduces resource consumption through thoughtful planning, recycles and manages waste responsibly, promotes the preservation of clean air, water, soil, and open space, and follows and encourages the “Leave No Trace” principles.
