Boys & Girls Club of Fall River

Boys & Girls Club of Fall River offers Camp Welch during the summer months for children ages 5 to 12. Camp activities include basketball, soccer, baseball, hockey, swimming lessons, pool recreation, arts and crafts, hiking, and fitness. The Club also offers membership for ages 6 to 18, with General Membership listed at $25 a year.

About the provider

Boys & Girls Club of Fall River was founded in 1890 and incorporated in 1892. Camp Welch in Assonet opened in 1895, a new clubhouse opened on Anawan St. in 1897, and the organization became a National Movement of Federation of Boys' Clubs charter member in 1906. It changed to the Boys & Girls Club of Fall River in 1982. The mission statement is: to enable youth to reach their full potential as responsible, caring, and productive citizens.
