Sandwich Recreation Programs include access to a skate park, tennis, and pickle ball. The program uses a community designed skate park along with two regulation sized tennis courts and six pickle ball courts.
The Sandwich Recreation Department’s mission is to offer quality, diverse, affordable, and inclusive recreational and leisure opportunities that enhance the citizen’s quality of life while promoting health, happiness and community engagement. The department oversees fresh and saltwater beaches, museums, community events and recreational facilities. The leadership team includes Tricia MacDonald, Recreation Director; Amelia Finerty, Assistant Recreation Director; and Guy Boucher, Director of Operations for Community Services. Over 100 seasonal staff and volunteers support the recreation department. The Recreation Department has a new registration system.
