About
Dancing Arts Center offers instruction in classical ballet, modern dance, tap, jazz, improvisation, and choreography. The program includes Creative Movement, Ballet, Tap, Adult/teen conditioning for dancers, Intermediate Ballet, and Intermediate/Advanced Ballet. Summer 2026 programs run in 2-, 3-, and 5-week formats from July 6 through August 7, and there are open classes for adults and teens during the school year.

• Schedule: Summer 2026 2-, 3-, and 5-week programs from July 6–August 7; open classes for adults and teens from September 2, 2025 through June 13, 2026
• Price: Adult/teen conditioning for dancers: 60-minute class card $175 or $20 drop-in; open ballet classes: 60-minute class card $175, 90-minute class card $195, or drop-in at $20 for 60 minutes and $24 for 90 minutes

Dancing Arts Center offers professional performance opportunities including The Nutcracker at The Norwood Theatre, Youth America Grand Prix, and an annual Spring Concert. The program includes a comprehensive, training-focused dance education program called DAC Academy, which is described as preparing dancers for professional careers or a lifetime of enjoyment in dance. The Open Division offers drop-in classes and programs for teen through adult learners, and summer programs are described as advancing technique and artistry with training in a small class setting. Children’s and Primary Programs include Creative Movement for ages 3–5, and Ballet and Tap for age 6 and up. Enrollment is accepted on an ongoing basis with prorated tuition for certain programs, and enrollment is accepted throughout the year with pro-rated tuition for DAC Academy.
