Lexington Arts & Crafts Society Classes & Workshops

Lexington Arts & Crafts Society Classes & Workshops offers classes and workshops for teens to seniors. The program includes ceramics, metalworking, painting, weaving, woodworking, polymer and beading, photography, needle arts, and decorative arts in five fully equipped studios and additional studio groups.

About the provider

Lexington Arts & Crafts Society was founded in 1935. Its mission is to provide service to the community, support and extend resources to those in need and those seeking partnership and collaboration, and infuse the arts into every aspect of community life. The organization also runs an annual high school exhibition, an annual high school scholarship program for graduating seniors from five area high schools pursuing careers in the arts, and class scholarships for clients of the Lexington Refugee Assistance Program and the Lexington Housing Assistance Board. It participates in community initiatives and provides exhibit space for other area organizations. Members receive a 10% discount on class fees, and the program is accessible to all and serves neurodiverse individuals and others of varying abilities and needs.
