Medfield Children's Center

Medfield Children’s Center offers infant care for children 3 months to 14 months old, toddler rooms focused on play skills, independence, and social/emotional development, nursery, prekindergarten, junior kindergarten, a half-day program, after school, and a summer program. The summer program includes outside play in sprinklers, special guests, and other activities.

Programs

• Infants — 3 months to 14 months of age · Mon-Fri · Available to children 3 months to 14 months of age. Minimum of 2 days with 8 hours.
• Toddlers — Mon-Fri · Toddler room focused on play skills, independence, and social/emotional development.
• Nursery — 2.9 to 3.11 years old · Mon-Fri · Designed for children 2.9 to 3.11 years old.
• Prekindergarten — 4.0-4.11 years of age · Mon-Fri · Available to kids from ages 4.0-4.11 years of age.
• Junior Kindergarten — As-needed basis; generally 5 day/week program · Offered for students who just miss the cut-off for Kindergarten or are not ready for Kindergarten, but meet the age requirement.
• Half-Day Program — Pre-K aged children 4.0-4.11; Nursery aged 3.0-3.11 · 9:15-11:15; optional lunch bunch until 12:45 · Monday/Wednesday/Friday for Pre-K aged children; Tuesdays/Thursdays for Nursery aged children.
• After School — Kindergarteners & First Graders up to the age of 8 · As-needed basis from year to year · Offered with minimum enrollment of 5 kids.
• Summer program — Mon-Fri starting the second week of June through the end of August · Fun and stimulating curriculum with outside play in sprinklers, special guests, and other exciting activities.

About the provider

Medfield Children’s Center started in 1982 and moved to the newly built facility at 105 North Meadows Road in July 2019. It was voted Number 1 Preschool/Daycare in Medfield for 13 straight years and in a 6 town region for 11 straight years in 2024 in the Hometown Weekly, and it was voted the 2024 favorite Preschool with the South Audience of CommunityKangaroo.com.
