Melrose Dance Academy

Melrose Dance Academy offers Creative Movement for age 2, Tiny Tots for ages 2-4, a 3-4 Yrs Ballet/Tap Combo, a Ballet & Tap Combo for ages 5-6, Beginner/Intermediate Ballet for ages 7-9, Intermediate–Advanced Ballet for ages 11 and up, Tap, Jazz, and Lyrical. The program also lists a season that runs September-June, new registration until February 1, monthly tuition, and an optional annual recital.

• Jazz — High-energy class focused on style, technique, flexibility, coordination, and performance skills.
• Lyrical — Expressive dance style blending ballet and jazz; designed for intermediate to advanced students.

• General schedule: Season runs September-June. New registration is taken until February 1. Tuition is paid monthly. 30 days notice is requested for withdrawal, or tuition is due for that month. Annual recital participation is optional.

Melrose Dance Academy says it aims to teach the art of dance, give students a strong sense of confidence and achievement, and help students reach their full potential. Offers age appropriate choreography, costuming, and song choice. Performance opportunities are offered, including an annual recital. Performance Team dancers audition and are selected to represent the academy. Competitive and performance programs are available.
