Norwood Recreation Department - School of Dance runs during the same operating hours as the Norwood Recreation Department schedule. The program follows different weekday hours depending on the time of year and is closed on certain holidays and on some Saturdays.

From June 16, 2025, to September 7, 2025, the program follows weekday hours of Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 6:00pm, with the gym closing at 5:45pm and Saturdays closed. From September 8, 2025, to June 15, 2026, weekday hours run Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 9:00pm, with the gym and fitness area closing at 8:45pm, and Saturdays open from 8:00am to 4:00pm. The building is closed on President's Day (Monday, February 16), Patriot's Day (Monday, April 20), Memorial Day (Monday, May 25), Juneteenth (Friday, June 19), the observed Independence Day (Friday, July 3), and Labor Day (Monday, September 7), and it closes early at 12:00pm on Good Friday (Friday, April 3). The program is overseen within a department led by Superintendent of Recreation Sam White, Program Coordinator Marie Duffy-Kidd, Recreation Administrator Howard Weinstein, and Administrative Assistant Allison Penza.
