About

Camp Pembroke is a Jewish summer sisterhood where campers swim, paddle the lake, play tennis, do yoga, and take part in arts and dance. It is the Northeast's only inclusively-Jewish overnight camp for girls and is totally devoted to empowering each young woman. Camp Pembroke is part of The Cohen Camps family alongside co-ed Jewish overnight camps Camp Tel Noar and Camp Tevya, and is pluralist, Kosher, and inclusive.

• Ages: 7–16 years old
• Schedule: Camp Pembroke offers 3.5 week and 7 week sessions, along with a 2-week option for first-time campers.

Founded in 1935, Camp Pembroke is the only Jewish girls overnight camp in New England and is based in Massachusetts. All Cohen Camps share one nonprofit mission and commitment to Jewish values. The camp’s leadership includes Amy and Becca, Co-Directors of Camp Pembroke, and Ben Portnoy, Executive Director of The Cohen Camps. Camp Pembroke is the new home of Exceptional Citizens Week, an overnight camp August 17-23, 2025 for children and adults with intellectual and/or physical disabilities, as part of its commitment to building an inclusive community. One Pembroke parent shared that their child made friendships that will last a lifetime, gained confidence and independence while away at camp, tried new things, and loved Shabbat and the experience each Friday night and Saturday morning.
