BTG PLAYS! Year-Round Education Program is part of Berkshire Theatre Group’s educational offerings. The program is connected to BTG PLAYS! 2025-26 Touring Show, whose cast of Magic Tree House: Showtime with Shakespeare participated in Creative Sector Day at The State House and met State Representative Tricia Farley-Bouvier. BTG PLAYS! Year-Round Educational Programs serve a large number of Berkshire County school children each year.

The program is led under the artistic direction of Kate Maguire, Artistic Director of Berkshire Theatre Group. Berkshire Theatre Group states, “We believe the performing arts can transform a community.” Berkshire Theatre Group notes that of the 16,000 Berkshire County school children, 13,000 are served through BTG PLAYS! Year-Round Educational Programs. Berkshire Theatre Group lists “Berkshire Theatre Group Awards & Recognition” among its credentials and awards. Testimonials about Berkshire Theatre Group’s work include a statement from Michael Paulson of The New York Times describing a production in western Massachusetts and comments from Artistic Director Kate Maguire about the ongoing role of theatre.
