The program takes place on a scenic, forty acre campus that includes open fields, shaded areas with trees, a beautiful waterway, two outdoor swimming pools, a challenge course, an air-conditioned dining hall, a newly-renovated arts building with a theater, dance studio, ceramics studio, visual arts studio, and digital arts lab, and an air-conditioned gymnasium. Running Brook Camps provides summer camps for children and teenagers in preschool through high school.

• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm

Running Brook Camps has operated for over twenty-five years. The leadership team includes Director Kenna Weber, L.M.F.T., Camp Office staff Denise Goguen and Maddie Rivers, and Assistant Director Alyssa Meserve. The camp’s mission states that it focuses on relationships, exploration of challenges, learning what campers enjoy, discovering what they are capable of, developing more self-confidence, and having fun, with campers always part of a group and the community valuing and supporting the uniqueness of each camper. The mission also states that the camp emphasizes being outside, unplugged, physical, and surrounded by adults who are described as fun, caring, and compassionate, and that camp is special because of the people who are there.

Running Brook Camps is proudly accredited by the American Camp Association and is a member of the Massachusetts Camping Association. The camp must comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and be licensed by the Local Board of Health. The program also notes Community Partnerships as part of its community involvement. One parent described Running Brook Day Camp by saying, “Running Brook Day Camp is the most amazing camp ever! The camp taught my kiddo independence, creativity, courage, curiosity, and collaboration.”
