About
Adventure Zone Summer Child Care offers arts and crafts, sports, field trips, environmental activities, and guest speakers. The program also includes swimming once a week at Agawam State Pool and visits to the spray parks. Participants are divided into groups by age, and the program maintains a 1:10 staff to participant ratio.
• Ages: 5–15 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, with care available from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Price: For children ages 5–12 - $125 for a full week or $35 per day if not registering for the full week. For Junior Leaders age 13 - $45 per week. For Junior Leaders age 14 - $25 per week. For Junior Leaders age 15 – Free. Field trips fees are not included in the fees listed above.
The Adventure Zone Child Care Program is a full day summer camp for children ages 5–12 and is designed for working parents who need affordable childcare during the summer. All camp staff have CPR training, are first aid certified, and have CORI/SORI criminal background checks. Participants should bring their own lunch, snacks, and drinks, and no refrigeration is available, so lunches should be packed in coolers with ice packs if needed, with water available for campers. Medical forms for any allergies or medications needed are available from the Adventure Zone Directors on site, and newsletters are available on-site at camp on Fridays and Mondays each week.
