Camp Shepard Day Camp is an 8-week program where campers take part in an outdoor education experience. The program notes that campers will establish everlasting friendships each day while participating in this outdoor-focused day camp.
• Schedule: Summer 2026 offers four 2-week sessions: Session 1 (June 29–July 10, no camp July 3), Session 2 (July 13–July 24), Session 3 (July 27–August 7), and Session 4 (August 10–August 21).
• Price: For Summer 2026, Session 1 costs $394 for members and $408 for non-members; Sessions 2, 3, and 4 each cost $438 for members and $453 for non-members. A non-refundable $75 deposit is required per session to secure a spot, is not transferable between sessions, and is applied toward camp fees, with the remaining balance due one week before the session starts.
The program is part of the YMCA of Greater Westfield, whose mission is to provide the community with quality programs and services that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. All programs at the YMCA of Greater Westfield, including Camp Shepard Day Camp, are open to everyone regardless of town of residence, and registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. To complete registration, families must turn in a completed registration packet, a deposit, all health forms, and immunization records.
