Central Mass Dance Academy

Central Mass Dance Academy offers Twinkle Babies, Twinkle Stars, The Show Stars™, Hip-Hop, Acro, Lyrical / Contemporary, Acting Classes, and Vocal Lessons. It also offers Attacking the Cold Read for ages 14 & up and Acting Fundamentals for the Aspiring Young Artist for ages 8-13. Attacking the Cold Read is a 10-week class with Saturday sessions starting Sept 6, 11:15 AM-12:45 PM, and Wednesday sessions starting Sept 10, 5:45-7:15 PM. Acting Fundamentals for the Aspiring Young Artist is a 10-week course with a final showcase, with Wednesday sessions starting Sept 10, 4:00-5:30 PM, and Saturday sessions starting Sept 6, 9:30-11:00 AM.

Programs

• Twinkle Babies — A playful introduction to movement for the youngest dancers, building coordination, confidence, and creativity in a fun, nurturing environment.
• Twinkle Stars — A signature early childhood program designed to develop foundational dance skills, imagination, and confidence through engaging, age-appropriate classes.
• The Show Stars™ — Builds performance skills, technique, and confidence while creating on-stage experiences.
• Hip-Hop — High-energy classes that build rhythm, coordination, and style while allowing dancers to express themselves through upbeat movement and music.
• Acro — A dynamic class blending dance and acrobatics in a safe, progressive, and exciting environment.
• Lyrical / Contemporary — Express emotion through movement while developing fluidity, technique, and storytelling in a blend of ballet and modern dance styles.
• Acting Classes — Develop stage presence, confidence, and creativity while learning the fundamentals of acting, character work, and performance techniques.
• Vocal Lessons — Build confidence and vocal technique while learning proper breathing, tone, and performance skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
• Attacking the Cold Read — Ages 14 & Up · Saturdays starting Sept 6, 11:15 AM-12:45 PM; Wednesdays starting Sept 10, 5:45-7:15 PM · $450 · 10-week class. Limited to 15 students.

About the provider

Central Mass Dance Academy’s mission is to help every dancer grow in skill, confidence, and joy inside a supportive, structured environment, with the goal of helping them discover their potential and develop a lifelong love for the performing arts. The leadership team is Kellie Shea and Megan Schreiber. Tuition is broken down into 10 monthly installments and is due on the 1st of each month through automatic payment deduction by credit card. A $10 late fee is added on the 8th of each month if tuition is not paid, and unpaid tuition results in the dancer being unable to participate in class. Families should enroll in autopay. Year-in-full payment by November 1st receives 10% off, and the sibling rate receives 10% off.
