Camp EPIC includes teamwork and creative problem solving, along with creative art experiences such as painting, drawing, and crafting. Campers take part in hands-on, project-based STEM challenges, STEM learning with LEGOs, science experiments, and math-based games. The program also includes character building, healthy living activities, physical education, indoor and outdoor games, arts and crafts, community outings, pool days, rollerskating, fishing, and an Orioles game.

• Schedule: Camp EPIC runs in a 7-week session from June 29 to August 14, with camp offered Monday–Friday and extended care options.
• Price: $250 per week for Summer Camp; Extended Care $25 per week; $50 registration fee per household for Camp EPIC 2026
All staff undergo extensive background checks, and drivers are background-checked and have proper licensure. A healthy breakfast and lunch are provided, with snacks offered throughout the day, and transportation is provided for local field trips using well-maintained vans and shuttles. Camp EPIC is described as an affordable summer camp that accepts childcare vouchers and offers scholarships for families who have applied and do not receive vouchers from the state, and the membership or registration fee is per household, not per child. Both locations that host Camp EPIC participate in Maryland EXCELS and are recognized at an EXCELS Level 4. The EPICENTER states that its mission is to empower people, strengthen families, and build a sense of community and trust, and it describes itself as the community center for Edgewood and Aberdeen, partnering with Mountain Christian Church while remaining a separate entity.
