Creative Alliance Youth Education Programs include activities such as the Cultural Curiosity Summer Camp 2026. These programs are part of a broader arts education effort that includes after-school, enrichment, and summer programs for youth. Creative Alliance is home to two locations, The Patterson and the Creativity Center, which support these youth education offerings.
• Price: Spots at the lot on East Avenue are $10 and can be purchased online, over the phone, or in person.
Founded by volunteers in 1995 as the Fells Point Creative Alliance, the organization has grown to support area artists and promote Baltimore as a center for creative production. Its mission states that the Creative Alliance builds communities by bringing together artists and audiences from various backgrounds to experience arts and education programs and engage in the creative process. The Creativity Center is the newest addition to the Creative Alliance footprint and includes a state of the art teaching kitchen, a professional dance studio, and two multi-use arts classrooms, while the historic Patterson theater includes live/work studios for 8 artists. Partnerships have been built with neighborhood businesses and community organizations, and Creative Alliance has worked with a coalition of business, religious, and political leaders on a revitalization plan for Highlandtown, including strengthened partnerships with Southeast CDC.
