Creative Alliance Youth & Family Programs

Creative Alliance Youth & Family Programs include activities such as Shake Out Your Sillies, Indian Classical Dance – Bharatnatyam with JHU Shakti, Kerplunk!, yoga, and crankies. The program takes place within the broader Creative Alliance organization, which runs multiple arts and education programs for youth and families.

• Price: Spots at the lot on East Avenue are $10 and can be purchased online, over the phone, or in person.

Founded by volunteers in 1995 as the Fells Point Creative Alliance, the organization has grown through partnerships with neighborhood businesses and community organizations. Creative Alliance began working with a coalition of business, religious, and political leaders on a revitalization plan for Highlandtown and strengthened partnerships in the area, including Southeast CDC. The Creative Alliance mission states that it builds communities by bringing together artists and audiences from various backgrounds, supports area artists, promotes Baltimore as a center for creative production, acts as a positive force in the community, and advocates for expression rooted in a sense of place. The organization notes that membership supports free and low-cost programs for Baltimore.
