Cylburn Nature Camp takes place as part of Cylburn Nature Camps and connects campers with programs such as the Family Weekday Drop-in: Squirrels, Family Weekday Drop-in: Hibernation, and the Wednesday Walk. Camp registration is open for 2026 Cylburn Nature Camps, with offerings for campers entering PreK–8th grade.

Cylburn Nature Camp is part of the educational programming supported by Cylburn Arboretum Friends, whose stated mission is to support Cylburn Arboretum through stewardship and educational programming. Cylburn Arboretum Friends provides horticulturally sound garden practice and science-based educational programs to learners of all ages, with a stated passion for trees and an emphasis on stewardship of the environment. Cylburn Arboretum Friends has partnered with the City of Baltimore since 1954 to maintain the grounds and gardens and to support the Arboretum through stewardship and educational programming.
The organization’s leadership includes Executive Director Brooke Fritz and Director of Education Erika Castillo, along with staff such as Head Gardener Brent Figlestahler, Financial Associate Holly Harris, Garden Educator Ellen Kraai, Horticulture Intern Aniyah Johnson, Maryland Climate Corps Members Lucy Buda and Maura Oyler, and President Hilles Whedbee and other board officers and members.
