Wonders Early Learning + Extended Day offers time for children to finish homework, read, play, create art, and enjoy outdoor activities. Since 1976, Wonders Early Learning + Extended Day has provided high quality learning environments parents can trust and depend upon, with a goal of offering non-profit, high quality child care to working families. The organization is a nonprofit provider of NAEYC accredited and licensed early childhood education, licensed before and after school care, and licensed summer camps, with flexible programs for children from two months through Grade 8 and nine locations in Montgomery County, MD and Washington, DC. Wonders teachers are described as engaged and good with children, and many are pursuing advanced degrees in education, with approximately 80% of the annual budget directed to staff compensation.
